Why   Nero x Matryoshka ??

TOTAL DOGS

As always, the goal is to produce the "total dog"... one of the many reasons we put together these two dogs is that they have literally earned awards called "total dog" - many many times over! To receive this award, means they have earned qualifying scores in a performance event AND won at a dog show in the SAME DAY. They are both such well rounded and successful dogs that are great for each other in so many ways.

A little backstory because who doesn't love a good romance?

M and Nero met in New York at a dog show late 2019 but formally met the following spring and were totally smitten ever since. They only see each other a few times a year due to the distance, but every time they are together it is like two teenagers flirting -- even while surrounded by other dogs or exciting environments, no one/nothing else exists ha! M and Nero chose each other years ago so this has been a long time coming...so so glad that they both have such great taste in partners so we could actually make this happen! Their love built one of my most treasured friendships and I am beyond thrilled to be now sharing a puppy AND officially be breeding colleagues with her.

Read further to understand all the reasons for why this combination is so special beyond the numerous total dog awards and love at first sight! Like all my other crosses, I believe these two compliment each other in all the right places.

MAKING HISTORY AT NATIONALS.

Both Nero and Matryoshka have won the UWSC National Specialty Show (National BISS/NBOB), the most prestigious title in our country. Nero is the first and currently the ONLY dog in the USA to win this title twice as well as the first long coated dog to win it in history. Matryoshka is the first imported dog to win and first long coated female to win. To date, both Nero and Matryoshka are also the ONLY long coated dogs to win the national show! A massive honor for us to be included amongst the list of historic specialty winners in our country.

 

Nero comes from White Star Shepherds in Buffalo, New York, USA. His outstanding movement and beautiful structure has captured the eyes of so many judges and spectators over the years. He was the #1 ranked dog in our breed for 5 consecutive years - another first for the breed! Nero has won countless Best in Shows (BIS), reserve BIS, and multiple overall Best of the Best in Show winner (where only BIS winners competing). He and his owner Lexi (who is also co-owner of Matryoshka's B-Litter son, Bravo NACO!) have also competed in many performance events including dock diving, precision lure coursing, lure coursing, rally obedience, agility, and more. Nero is always up for chasing his favorite toy and engaging with his favorite person. He has an open and outgoing temperament that makes him the perfect dog to do a wide variety of activities with. I once heard a judge comment after giving him a Best in Show, "This is a once in a lifetime dog. There will never be another one like him." Well we are going to try our best to make a Nero 2.0 haha -- and I truly hope that someone from this litter may show for this judge someday to get his thoughts on how we did!

Matryoshka, our queen bee, import of Russia from one of the top winning kennels, Iz Beloy Brigady, has competed all over the USA and also overseas at the 2019 World Dog Show. She is everything I had hoped for in a foundation female and the best friend I could ever ask for. She consistently passes her beautiful dark pigment and intensely loyal and loving temperament to her offspring. Her signature tight ear set, prominent chest, and elegant structure are often passed on as well. I could not be more grateful to her breeder, Maria Guryeva, for trusting me with this amazing girl who has completely changed my life. These final puppies of hers are incredibly precious to me as there will never be any more future "M babies." I am so excited to see how they make their marks on the world. WHAT ELSE TO EXPECT
>> Both Matryoshka and Nero are long coats. All pups will have long, double coats like their parents. Be ready to brush! 

>> ​I am expecting active puppies with great intelligence and trainability. We are looking for active families for these babies that are ready for adventure and ideally those who are interested in dog sports, shows, and/or active lifestyles.

Both Matryoshka and Nero have had their DNA tested to be sure they are compatible partners...however, at NASHA COMANDA, we like to provide all new owners with as much information about their new family member as possible as well as keep track of health of all puppies produced in our litters.
